Others now work in policy-making in development, aid or governance, journalism, as an advisor or policy officer, in internal communications, planning and media, as policy analysts or as advisors with international governmental or non-governmental organisa- tions in the private sector. I chose this degree because I believed it could give me a deeper academic understanding of the world around me.
